Man is a humanoid from the other-dimensional Valley of the Seven Suns. He and his mysterious, superhumanly strong metal man companion, Klang, become the pawn in a time-spanning battle between Good and Evil, represented by two god-like figures, the angelic One and Aruna, Mistress of the Abyss. Man eventually chooses good and marries Elevan, Daughter of Vercingetorix.
