René Brantonne's Johnny Speed was
a fast-paced adventure hero which was published in an eponymous magazine by Artima, starting with No. 1 in July, 1964.
The series lasted 33 issues, but the lead feature only appeared in Nos. 1 to 20. Nos. 21 to 33 featured other,
non-Brantonne series.
